AUTOMATIC DEAD-TIME CORRECTOR IN RADIATION MEASUREMENT DEVICES (in German)

The errors caused by the dead-time in the measurements of statistically distributed pulses can be eliminated or reduced with automatic correction methods. In count meters an error corrector is possible through appropriate calibration or utilization of an electrodynamic quotient measuring device. Compensation recorders permit an exact correction. In rate meters the correction is achieved through production of pulses during the dead-time, in counters with electronic clocks by measurement of live time. Dead-time stages were given for both types of solutions. (tr-auth)
