Formulas are proposed which permit the calculation of the optimum reheating temperature of the feed water for a double circuit, and the results of the calculation variants made in the case of a reactor having a thermal power Q= 400 Mw are given. The application of the formulas proposed avoids the necessity of a large number of calculations and allows the optimum zone of the reheating temperature to be determined with sufficient approximation, while emphasizing the effect of various factors of the thermal design on the parameters studied.
