The intensity of primary cosmic ray helium nuclei on April 28th, 1961
The intensity of He nuclei in primary cosmic radiation was determined in a stack of nuclear emulsion exposed on Apr. 28, 1961 for 190 min at 29.5 to 32 km over Fife, Scotland. The stack consisted of 10 Ilford G5, 600 mu , stripped emulsions 10 cm x 10 cm. The time-altitude curve was obtained from continuous radar observations of balloon positions. Data are presented in graphical form.
