Flow between Two Concentric Rotating Cylinders with a Radial Magnetic Field

The steady flow of an incompressible fluid between two concentric rotating cylinders under the influence of a radial magnetic field is examined. The analysis shows that the velocity in the magnetohydrodynamic case is lessened when enither of the cylinder's uniform angular velocities of rotation is greater than the other. Thus the magnetohydrodynamic velocity is less than that of the classical hydrodynamic venlocity in both cases. (N.W.R.)
