The extraction of several uranyl salts (nitrate, chloride, perchlorate, sulfate, acetate, and phosphate) by TBP was studied. The formation of the complexes UO2(NO3)2(TBP)2, and UO2(ClO4)2(TBP)4 was confirmed by partition study and infrared study. The influence of acid concentration on uranium extraction was discussed, especially for the system UO2(ClO4)2-HClO4TBP. The order of the extractabilities of the uranyl salts was compared with that of the acids.
