A linear induction electromagnetic pump was designed for use as the Hallam Nuclear Power Facility sodium service pumps. The design requirements are 100 gpm at 35 psi pressure rise for 650 deg F sodium, ambient temperature of 200 deg F, and gamma radiation fields of 5 x10/sup 5/ r/hr. (D.L.C.)
