COSMIC RAY INTENSITY VARIATIONS DURING 1960. Technical (Scientific) Note No. 8

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4825517
A continuation is given of l2th Status Report and Technical Note No. 4, which contains tables and clock diagrams of the first and second harmonics of the daily variation during l960. Two more l2-monthly periods are included, one ending on Apr. 30, l960 and the other on Aug. 3l, l960. The cosmic ray storms, Forbush decreases, during 1960 are displayed in diagrams over the intensity variations in per cent of a normal'' counting rate. The note contains also detailed diagrams of the solar flare effect on May 4, 1960. (auth)
