RADIATIVE PROTON CAPTURE BY Cr$sup 50$, Cr$sup 52$, Cr$sup 53$, AND Cr$sup 5$$sup 4$

Journal Article · · Arkiv Fysik
OSTI ID:4824535

A search for gamma emitting levels in manganese isotopes 51, 53, 54, and 55 was performed by proton bombardment of electromagnetically separated targets of chromium isotopes 50, 52, 53, and 54 in the energy interval 700 to 1400 kev. Nine isolated resonance levels were found in manganese-5I, 23 in manganese-53, 44 in manganese-54, and 27 in manganese-55. No obvious evidence of shell effects in the level spacings in the region of neutron number 28 was observed. (auth)
