REPLICA, A MONTE CARLO CODE TO CALCULATE RESONANCE CAPTURE IN A LATTICE OF 19-ROD HEXAGONAL CLUSTERS

REPLICA is a digital computer code for the IBM 704 or 7090, which uses Monte Carlo techniques to calculate the resonance escape probability for an infinite array of 19 rod bundles of fuel rods enclosed in tubes. The array of bundles may be rectangular, hexagonal, or staggered and each fuel rod may contain two regions. The code is a modification and an extension of the NYU REP code which does the calculation for an infinite array of single rods or slabs. Operating instructions and sample problems are given for both the 704 and 7090 versions. (auth)
