Some statistical studies were performed on cases of leukemia complicated with cancer seen in Hiroshima during l955 to 1958, Among the atomic bomb survivors exposed within 2 km from the center there were 1 in 1955. 2 in l956, and 2 cases of leukemia complicated with cancer in 1957. One of the 3 cases was also complicated with bronchial cancer, However. no cases complicated with cancer were found in unexposed leukemia patients. Among the atomic bomb survivors there may be a tendency toward leukemia complicated with cancer, (Abstr. Japan Med. 1; No. 12, 1961)
