Stress analysis of pre-twisted cantilever beam

The paper considers some results of stress analysis concerning pre-twisted cantilever beam of rectangular cross-section. Using the finite elements method beams with various angles of initial twisting are modelled and the obtained results show that interconnection of twisting and axial deformations must be considered, as well as the initial twisting influence on the stress-state.
