A combined phase shift analysis of np and pp scattering is made. The sets of the phase shifts obtained are given. The pion-nucleon interaction constant is 0.08. The pion mass from the nucleon-nucleon scattering data is evaluated. The value obtained for the mass does not contradict the well unknown one. (auth)
