Phase relationships in the binary systems Y-Fe, Y-Ni, and Y -Cu were determined. Arc-melted alloys were heat treated at appropriate temperathre intervals, water quenched, and studied metallographically. The results of such studies, coupled with complementary x-ray and melting point work, permitted the construction of the three binary diagrams. (auth)
