MONTE CARLO RESEARCH SERIES: FINITE CYLINDER GAMMA HEATING PROGRAM

The IBM 704 program describcd computes the heat source density in a finite homogeneous cylinder due to photon energy degradation, given an arbitrary photon source in space and energy. The output is a gross radial and gross longitudinal histogram together with a listing of the heat source denstty in each of up to 400 disjoint volumes bounded by toroidal surfaces. (auth)
