IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO NUCLEAR REACTORS

A robust graphite block design is described which is particularly applicable to reactors with zig-zag fuel passages such as that described in British Patent 887,145. The blocks are vertically aligned to form a plurality of stacks with fuel passages formed out of the vertical abutting faces of the blocks in a pair of adjacent stacks. (D.L.C.)
