measured in plastic scintillators (polystyrene + pterphenyl + POPOP and polystyrene + anthracene). The dependence on concentration of benzoyl peroxide (at 70 deg C), on polymerization temperature (without a catalyst), and on average molecular weight of solvent (polystyrene) was established. Some increase of radioluminescence yield was noted when adding small amounts of benzoyl peroxide. Considerable increase was observed when solvent average molecular weight was also increased. (auth)
