TO THE THEORY OF THE SECTOR MAGNETIC SPECTROGRAPH WHOSE FIELD IS HOMOGENEOUS AND BOUNDARIES ARE STRAIGHT LINES (in Russian)

The equation of the focal curve for a homogeneous sector-shaped magnetic field, whose sharply defined boundaries are straight lines, was found. An analytical expression for dispersion and aberration along this focal curve was obtained. The case in which the source is within the field and the focusing is realized by means of one boundary of this field was investigated. It is shown that by giving the aberration, choosing the parameters of instruments in some definite way, and using the first order focusing it is possible to get larger aperture in comparison to the second-order focusing. The analytical expression for the total transverse aberration was obtained. (auth)
