CRITICAL HEAT FLUX OF SANTOWAX R IN FORCED CONVECTION

The critical heat flux of Santowax R was measured for upfiow in a 0.344- in. ID vertical tube as a function of velocity, subcooling, and pressure over the following ranges: V=4to 17 ft/sec, P = 30 to 150 psia, DELTA T/sub/ = 130to 280 deg F, and T/bulk/= 590 to 850 deg F.
