Separation of Ruthenium from Base Metals by Cation Exchange
A method for the separation of ruthenium from large amounts of associated base metals in dilute hydrochloric acid solution by cation exchange resin is described. The method was also applied for the determination of ruthenium in a copper-nickel-iron assay button.
