Chemonuclear reactors are rcactors nnn which the radiation released with nuclear fission ean be used for radiation chemical processes. A survey nns given on U. S. and Belgian chemonuclear reactors Furthernnmore, some construction proposals are discussed. It appears that er reactors since only a small fraction of the energy produced in the core can be transformed in radiation chemical processes. (auth)
