UNITARY SYMMETRY
Journal Article

The notion of unitary symmetry is expressed in terms of more familiar concepts. The physical restrictions imposed by U/sub 3/ invariance are expressed in terms of isotopic spin and generalized charge symmetry operations. The simple multiplets are developed. As examples, meson--Sakaton scattering is expressed in terms of three invariant amplitudes, and relations are found for the decay of a Sakaton-antiSakaton pair into two bosons. (auth)
