Pathfinder Atomic Power Plant. Program and Organization for Preoperational and Nuclear Testing
Preoperational and initial startup programs are described. The purpose of the preoperational program including 8 tests is to demonstrate that plant components and equipment will function as specified and to demonstrate that the plant is ready for nuclear startup. The initial startup program consists of a series of tests to demonstrate the physics performance of the reactor and the performance of the integrated plant operation. Organization and training for the tests are discussed. (M.C.G.)
