THE USE OF CHELATOCHROME INDICATORS IN PRECIPITATION TITRATIONS. PART V

Journal Article · · Chemist Analyst
OSTI ID:4810508
Some salient information on the use of chelatochrome indicators in precipitation titrations is summarized for various metal ions. The material presented includes the cormmon or dye name assigned the indicator, its systematic chemical name, and, where existtng, the color index numbers and dye designations, and the F number of the SchultzLehmann dye tables. The table presented also lists all anions and cations determined by precipitation titrations employing the indicator in question. Special emphasis is placed on the chelatochrome indicators used in titrating barium, bismuth, cadmium, calcium, and higher alkaline earths, lead, mercury, magnesium, silver, thorium, and zinc.
