SM 59 SCINTILLATION MEASURING EQUIPMENT

The SM 59 measuring equipment for gamma spectroscopy is described. It consists of measuring head, linear amplifier single-channel amplitude analyzer, pulse-density measuring device, recorder, and high-voltage generator. The pulse amplication factor is 10/sup 5/ to 10/sup 7/. Formation of the voltage impulses at the resistance connected to the anode and the impulse shape are described. Circuit diagrams and functions of the other complimentary equipment are also described. (OTS)
