Notch ductility, fracture toughness and tensile property trends of two high copper content, submerged arc welds with 288{degrees}C irradiation, 399{degrees}C postirradiation annealing and 288{degrees}C reirradiation were investigated to determine reembrittlement rate with fluence following an anneal and the influence of first cycle fluence level on reembrittlement susceptibility. The results confirm an overall benefit of IAR procedures. Reembrittlement rate with initial reirradiation was found rapid but decreased markedly beyond {approximately} 0.3 x 10{sup 19} n/cm{sup 2}, E > 1 MeV. Residual embrittlement after annealing appeared independent of the preanneal condition; the reembrittlement trend appeared independent of the first cycle fluence level. Wide variability in percent recovery among welds is indicated.
