ON HIGH ENERGY COSMIC PHOTONS ORIGINATING IN INTERGALACTIC SPACE
Possibilities that pi /sup o/ meson produced by interactions between intergalactic light and cosmic radiation at ultra-high energies may be a major source of the ultra-high energy photons causing the extensive cosmic showers containing few muons are discussed. (L.N.N.)
