IONIZATION CHAMBER TECHNIQUE FOR STUDIES OF EXCITED STATES AND ANGULAR CORRELATION OF FISSION FRAGMENTS

Journal Article · · Brit. J. Appl. Phys.
Angular correlations between the directions of gamma emission at 0.7 and 1.3 Mev and associated fission fragments were studied by a special electronic technique in conjunction with a multigrid ionization chamber and were found to be isotropic. It was observed that more than one fragment of a fission can emit the same gamma ray. (auth)
