The energy spectra of neutrons emitted at 0, 45, and 90 deg to the direction of flight of fragments in the fission of U/sup 235/ by thermal neutrons were measured. The ratio of neutron emission probability at the angles of 0, 45, and 90 deg was found equal to (57 plus or minus 0.2): (2.9 plus or minus 0.1): 1. (auth)
