The multi-energy neutron diffusion adjoint was constructed with sufficient generality to include all slowingdown models linearly relating slowing- down density and flux, such as Selengut modified-age, Wigner first-moment, and Greuling-Goertzel second-moment. The corresponding first-order penturbation theory was formulated for application to aircraft nuclear reactor design work. (auth)
