NON-ABELIAN GAUGE FIELDS. COMMUTATION RELATIONS

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
The question is raised for non-Abelian vector gauge fields whether gauge invariance necessarily implies a massless physical particle. The action principle is used to discover the independent dynamical variables of such gauge fields and to construct their commutation relations. (auth)
