A family of three photomultipliers designed for good pulse height resolution was developed. Photomultipliers for scintillation counting under severe environmental conditions have been produced and additional types are under development. The introduction of new window materials and sealing techniques has led to tubes sensitive in the far ultraviolet. Several types giving improved high speed performance are under development. (auth)
