EFFECTS OF ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY AND VISCOSITY IN THE PROPAGATION OF MAGNETO-HYDRODYNAMIC WAVES (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4803538
In a previous note (Compt. rend. 252: 2070(l86l)) the effeet of electric conductivity on the propagation of magnetohydrodynamic waves in a perfect fluid and the effect where the conductivity is so high that the viscosity effect can be neglected were studied. In the present article, the combined dissipation effects of conductivity and viscosity were investigated. (tr-auth)
