The solubilities of uranyl, beryllium, cerium(III), cerium(IV), and beryllium-ammonium phosphates in diluted nitric, hydrochloric, and sulfuric acid solutions were studied at various pH. Calculations of the solubility products for (UO/sub 2/)/sub 3/(PO/sub 4/)/sub 2/, Be/sub 3/(PO/sub 4/) /sub 2/, CePO/sub 4/, Ce/sub 3/(PO/sub 4/)/sub 4/, and BeNH/sub 4/ 5.5) x 10/sup -50/ for uranyl (1.9 x 0.8) x 10/sup -38/ for beryllium (2.2 plus or minus 1.0) x 10/sup -20/ for beryllium ammonium, (4.7 plus or minus 1.2) x 10-22 for cerium(III) and (7.2 plus or minus 5.3) x 10/sup -91/ for cerium(IV) phosphates.
