BETA-GAMMA ANGULAR CORRELATIONS IN THE DECAY OF Eu$sup 15$$sup 4$ (in French)

Journal Article · · Helvetica Physica Acta (Switzerland)
OSTI ID:4803304
The directional correlation function of the beta /sub 1/ gamma /sup 1/ cascade in the decay of Eu/sup 154/ into Gd/sup 154/ was measured as afunction of the energy of the beta particle. The measured correlation function, corrected for the finite dimensions of the detectors, the presence of accidental coincidences, and gamma - gamma and beta gg coincidences of other cascades in the energy region below 1600 kev, is shown graphically. The results are compatible with the K prohibition rule. (J.S.R.)
