FINAL REPORT ON BLAST WAVE SOLUTIONS IN HYDRODYNAMICS

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4803265
A discussion of spherically symmetric blast waves of the similarity type is presented. Varying pressure and density of the ambient medium are considered along with heat flow and radiation energy loss. The two-dimensional particlein- cell method as applied to blast wave problems involving more than one material is also examined. A new approach to axial symmetric blast waves is considered which makes maximum use of intrinsic geometrical properties. (auth)
