THE EFFECTIVE RESONANCE INTEGRAL OF GOLD FOIL (in German)

Journal Article · · Nukleonik (West Germany) Discontinued with vol. 12
OSTI ID:4803236

The effective resonance integral of gold foil was measured relative to the resonance integral of gold of infinite thinness. The ratio of the two resonance integrals, the G-factor,'' was determined by the activity of a deposit of varyingly thick foil which was activated in the same resonance flux. The foil thickness varied between 0.06 and 200 mg/cm/sup 2/. The results were compared with the theory of Manner and Springer. (tr-auth)
