NUCLEAR QUADRUPOLE COUPLING CONSTANT OF Be$sup 9$ IN BeO

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
From the splitting of the nuclear magnetic resonance line in polycrystalline BeO, the quadrupole coupling constant of Be0 in BeO was determined to be 41 plus or minus 4 kc/sec with zero asymmetry parameter. Effects of anisotropic distribution of crystallites were observed and used in the analysis of the data. (auth)
