THE DESIGN OF THE HTRE-3 AUTOMATIC CONTROL

The design of the feedback control loops in the reactor control system for the HTRE-3 reactor is presented. The status of the control is given at the end of theoretical design, computer simulation, and test operation. The items discussed include the dynamic rod position loop, the power range flux control loop, the intermediate range flux control loop, and the temperature control loop. The final result is the closed loop transfer functions of the above mentioned loops in analytical form. (auth)
