ON THE LEVEL STRUCTURE OF $sup 96$Mo

Journal Article · · Physica
The level structure of Mo/sup 96/ was studied through the decay of 4.3 plus or minus 0.1-day Tc/sup 96/ and of 23.5 plus or minus 0.5-hour Nb/sup 96/. Only the 770-kev transition from the first excited state and the 840kev stop-over gamma ray from the second excited state seem to be common to these two decays. Three additional higher excited states are populated from Tc/sup 96/ and four different ones from Nb/sup 96/. Experimental results are cumulated in a tentative decay scheme, the main features being in agreement with those proposed in earlier studies. (auth)
