Through the use of a 15-in. hydrogen bubble chamber, antiproton-proton cross sections are measured. Interactions are studied in four energy intervals by insertion of suitable degraders in an electrostatically separated beam of 245- Mev antiprotons. Approximately 4000 antiprotons are incident in each of the energy intervals, namely (45 plus or minus cross sections at these energies, the values (281 plus or minus 46), (185 plus or minus 13), (163 plus or minus 12), and (118 plus or minus 9) mb are found respectively. The elastic scattering cross sections are (80 plus or minus 10), (65 plus or minus 6), (52 plus or minus 6), and (45 plus or minus 5) mb respectively. Calculations are in agreement with the measured differential cross sections. The total cross sections at 145 and 245 Mev agree with those measured with counters, while the elastic scattering cross sections are systematically 15% lower than those obtained in the counter measurements.
