Stability constants of the complexes formed between the rare earths and 1,2-bis-STA2-di-(carboxymethyl)-aminoethoxy!-ethane (EGT A) and 2,2' -bis- STAdi- (carboxymethyl)amino!-diethyl ether (EEDTA) were determined by the polarographic and mercury electrode methods at a temperature of 20 deg and an ionic strength of mu - 0.1. Some of the trends in the stabilities of rare earth aminopolycarboxylate chelates are discussed. (auth)
