From seven Suffolk sites considered for a 580-Mw nuclear power station, Sizewell was chosen. The results of tests of the Sizewell site are summarized. The tests included land boreholes, plate loading tests, offshore boreholes, sea bed surveys, and sea water movement determinations. (D.L.C.)
