BURN-UP AND KILOWATT-HOUR COSTS (in German)

Journal Article · · Atomwirtschaft (West Germany) Changed to ATW, Atomwirtsch., Atomtech.
OSTI ID:4792022
In a hypothetical example that could apply to a mediumsized pressurized water reactor, the fuel cycle costs are calculated in detail for burn-up values of 5,000, 10,000, and 15,000 Mwd/t. lt is assumed, among other things, that the fuel elements consist of enriched uranium oxide with alloy steel cladding and that the fissionable material is leased from the USAEC. All cost parameters are arbitrary and could suffer change in a practical case. (auth)
