KRAMER'S AND HYPERGEOMETRICAL SERIES METHOD FOR THE CALCULATION OF PARTICLE LOSS IN CYCLE ACCELERATORS (in Russian)

Particle losses due to quantum fluctuations are accurately determined by the majoring solution and hypergeometric series, however, the determination is quite complicated. An attempt is made to prove analytically that the hypergeometric series and Kramer's method, used by K. W. Robinson (CERN, Symposium, Geneva, 293, 1959), are equivalent within a certain range of parameters. (R.V.J.)
