Solubility of ammonium diplutonate in aqueous solutions various pH was studied, and absorption spectra of satuted plutonyl solutions were measured. The experiments icated a PuO/sub 2/(OH)/sub 2/ solubility product of 1.8 x 10sup 23/. The composition and dissociation constants of products formed; ad STA(PuO/ub 2/)/ (OH)5!-; were determined. The scheme of plutonyl hydrolysis in aqueous solutions at various pH is included. (R.V.J.)
