STRONTIUM, MAGNESIUM, AND MANGANESE IN FOSSIL FORAMINIFERAL CARBONATES

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4790714
The fraction greater than 62 mu was separated from three deep sea cores, the calcium carbonate put into solution, and strontium, magnesium, and manganese determined in the calcium carbonate fraction. Strontium and magnesium were relatively constant in this carbonate fraction, but manganese showed a significant increase with depth in core. (auth)
