STUDY ON THE DISTORTION IN NIKFI-R-EMULSION-II. PART II. INFLUENCE OF DRYING METHODS (in German)

In order to investigate the distortion resulting from different drying methods, NIKFI-R nuclear emulsions were soaked in various series of alcohol-water solutions after washing and then air dried. The distortions were measured by means of the method of Cosyns and Vanderhaeghe. The various conditions of drying investigated had no influence on the distortions except those near the edges in air dried emulsions. It was suggested that the distortions might be caused by processes preceding the development procedure. (auth)
