USE OF BACILLUS MEGATERIUM SPORES FOR CHECKING STERILIZATION BY RADIATION

Journal Article · · Food Irradiation
OSTI ID:4790281
Spores of Bacillus megaterium are recommended as a biological check of the effectiveness of radiation sterilization and for evaluation of the dose received. The procedure is outlined and data are presented on the survival of the spores in relation to the gamma radiation dose received. (C.H.)
