Results of cold tests on a ball-type adapter valve showed a leaksge rate below the maximum permissible of 300 cc/ hr. Development is summarized on sintered Al products, pressure tubes, header and feeder piping fluid dynamics, Zr technology, and Be irradiation. Research and development is also reported on Heavy Water Components Test Reactor, Vallecitos Boiling Water Reactor, and the Carolinas-Virginia Tube Reactor. (J.R.D.)
