Data on six binary constitution diagrams and two ternary constitution diagrams of some of the refractory metals are presented. The binary diagrams include Mo-Os, Ta-Ir, TaRh, Ta-Zr, W-Ir, and W-Rh; the ternaries are Mo-Hf-Re and Ta-W-Zr. Care was taken to obtain reliable diagrams. In particular the purity of the constituents (99.9% +) was protected at all times, and the temperatures were measured to an accuracy of plus or minus 20 deg C. (auth)
